Briggs announced that he had two Certificates of Appreciation for Jim Runaas and Gary Kranig for all of their help with the snowstorm last week.
Briggs commended the village crew for the great job on getting the snow moved after the storm. Other board members agreed and compared to other municipalities, our streets were great. Boeck, however, was disappointed that North Taylor Street wasn’t plowed for two days.
Sutherland hoped that corners could be cleared out as quickly as possible so people do not have to walk out in the street due to piled snow.
Keepers mentioned that she will be working on the newsletter soon if anyone has anything they would like in it.
Briggs explained that there are a couple of residents that do not pay for their garbage at the recycling center. Levitt stated that he has given the police department phone number to the recycling center employees to call if this happens.
