JOINT RECYCLING COMMITTEE
June 22, 2010
The regular meeting of the Joint Recycling Committee was called to order at 5:46 p.m. in the Albany Village Hall, 205 North Water Street, Albany WI by Chairperson John Grochola. Members present were: Grochola, Peggy Boeck, David Dowden [Ex-Offico], Keith Hobson and Fred Baertschi.

MINUTES: Motion by Boeck, seconded by Hobson, to approve the minutes of the previous meeting as printed. Carried.
OPERATIONAL:
a) Identify how we can be more efficient at Recycle Center?
a. No ideas brought forward
b) Concrete
a. The pour was completed;
b. Concrete work looks good;
c. Discussed painting the 4 corner posts yellow;
d. Discussed repairing the roof; task to village to inspect and advise on what we should do.
RECYCLE POGRAMS:
a) Update on newspaper articles?
a. No action taken on this point.
b) Chemicals / Hazardous Waste:
a. No action taken on this point.
c) Wisconsin’s new e-Waste Law
a. Waiting on information.
d) Town of Exeter – Recycle Center, vehicle sticker
a. Waiting on Information.
e) Battery Recycling
a. Waiting on information.
ANNOUNCEMENT AND FUTURE AGENA ITEMS:
a) Dave mentioned that some major changes will be coming our way from his attendance at the township landfill meeting;
b) Discussed old dump area, west of 59 on 39 beyond old school house;
c) 30 year agreement should be at end of life; need to research further. Added to TASK LIST for Laurie.
ADJOURNMENT: Motion by Boeck, seconded by Hobson, to adjourn. Carried.
