NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to the public and to the news media pursuant to s.19.84, Wisconsin Statute, that a meeting of the Joint Recycling Committee of the Village of Albany will be held on Monday, May 17, 2010, at 5:45 p.m. at the Albany Village Hall, 206 North Water Street, Albany, Wisconsin.
Preliminary agenda for said meeting is as follows:
1. Call to Order
2. Roll Call
3. Proof of Posting Verified
4. Minutes of Previous Meeting
5. From Board Meeting:
a. Discuss issues that were brought in front of board; address any questions or concerns
i. Concrete
ii. Hours change
iii. Grant
6. Operational:
a. Identify how we can be more efficient at recycle center
7. Recycle programs:
a. Update on newspaper articles
b. Chemicals/Hazardous Waste
c. Wisconsin’s new e-Waste Law – Follow-up on “RecyclethatStuff” for Fall Cleanup day.
d. Town of Exeter – Recycle Center, vehicle sticker
i. Much discussion at last meeting; do we need to do? Do we have a problem with out of town people?
e. Spring Acceptance Day – Dave to give committee update on 5/1 event
f. Medical Disposal Day – Dave to give committee update on 5/8 event
g. Battery – what did Laurie find out?
h. June Meeting Date Change
8. Announcement and Future Agenda Items
